Pernille Sandberg

Pernille Sandberg is an award-winning artist and filmmaker whose work combines a dynamic narrative approach bridging several genres. She grew up in Copenhagen and moved to Berlin in her late teens before moving to Oslo. Throughout her childhood, she joined her parents on work trips and was homeschooled for a couple of years. This upbringing had a great impact on her life as a creative.

Her artistic practice and aesthetic are characterized by a respectful approach to her subjects and assignments, often providing accessible perspectives on complex issues while illuminating overlooked fragile aspects.

Her Norwegian clients and collaborators include Void, DNB, Redd Barna, Porsche, Tom Wood, Holzweiler, Cathrine Hammel, Joachim Trier, Nathionaltheatret, Gyldendal, Warner Music, Coop Prix and Wikborg Rein. Her international clients include Zeiss, AnOther Magazine, NOWNESS, Vogue, and Innervisions. Several art collections have bought her work, and she has had exhibitions in Amsterdam, Tokyo, New York, Paris, and Tehran among others.
